Hey There

Tiverton Terrors is a public welcoming experience where you will have a night to remember. This is a free event but donations are greatly appreciated. All profit goes to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge institution.

This is an outdoor haunted path run by the Nivison family at 127 Lazywood Ln. The walk-through takes about 20–25 minutes and is 1/8th of a mile. Welcome to all age groups.

A very common question: “Can I bring my younger children?” YES. Each faculty section of the path has a walkie-talkie. Tell your check-in assistant if you wish a light scare and they will radio ahead. If you do not, the scare volume remains as usual.

Community Service

This is all run by students and volunteers earning community service hours. In Rhode Island, students need a specific amount of hours to graduate high school. This is a chance to redeem those hours in bulk, have a fun time, and do a great deed.

Origin Story

Where It All Started

The reasoning behind our decision to donate to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge is deeply personal. Our loved one, Donna Benevides, tragically passed away from pancreatic cancer in April 2021. Hope Lodge played a crucial role in her treatment by providing a free place to stay and access to healthcare, allowing daily treatments without traveling from Portsmouth to Boston.

This event began as a childhood tradition for Heather in the 90s and opened to the public in 2021. We hope to see you this year and in the years to come. See you soon — the spirits are waiting.
